Renewing Your Licenses in California

In California, professional licenses must be kept up to date to ensure that your patients are receiving the most current standards of professional care. Each specialty has its own requirements, fees, and penalties

Medical licenses must be renewed after every two years with at least 50 hours of continuing medical education (CME). Nursing licenses must be renewed after two birthdays, after completing 30 hours of continuing education. The DBC requires that dental licenses must be renewed every two years. Renewal fees are based on mandatory requirements and any penalties for delinquency or expiration penalties. There are also exemptions based on military, retired, or disabled status. I can help you figure out what you owe and file your renewal correctly and on time.
