Marlo Cordero
About
Marlo Cordero has been practicing law for more than 15 years, defending the rights of the criminally accused throughout Southern California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2001 and has been practicing criminal and DUI defense for misdemeanor and felony cases ever since. When it comes to obtaining dismissals through motions to suppress, writs, and Serna Motions, Marlo has one of the highest success rates in all of Orange County. To date, her track record in Southern California is unmatched.
From 2003-to-2016, Marlo served as a Contributing Editor for “California Drunk Driving Law,” a two-volume treatise now considered to be the “Bible of Drunk Driving Law” in California.
Marlo obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Clairmont McKenna college in 1996. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate degree in 2000 from the George Washington School of Law. In 2001, Marlo accepted her first position as a practicing attorney at the Law Office of Barry T. Simons. While there, she headed up the Law and Motion portion of the firm’s practice until she left in 2016 to form The SoCal Law Network with partners Peter F. Iocona and Alan Castillo.
Education & Legal Background
